Zoe co-founded Rowes Retreats with a passion for creating unique spaces and memorable guest experiences. She plays a key role in sourcing and curating the beautiful homes that make up our portfolio, working closely with owners to ensure each Retreat reflects the character and charm of its location. With a background in law and a naturally thoughtful approach, Zoe is always happy to help guide owners through the ins and outs of short-term letting-no jargon, just straightforward, friendly support.
 
Having spent time travelling and staying in properties around the world, Zoe understands what makes a stay feel truly special. It’s this mix of experience, local insight, and attention to detail that helps shape the personalised service we’re known for. If you’re joining the Rowes Retreats family, Zoe will be with you every step of the way.

BECKY

Becky has a background in childcare and customer service, so she is passionate about delivering an exceptional service that makes guests eager to return, time and time again. She has a genuine and caring approach to guests and owners, she’s an expert in providing 10/10 Customer service. At Rowes Retreats, she oversees quality control, ensuring that any issues are addressed swiftly and effectively. Becky maintains strong, positive relationships with our valued property owners, wonderful guests, and reliable suppliers, always striving to create a seamless experience for everyone involved.

JAKE (JRS GRAPHIC DESIGN)

Jake took on our Graphic Design and Marketing in 2021. He is a freelance graphic designer who works on our print material, web design and more recently our marketing optimisation.​ Having graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and over 10 years experience in the industry working in various marketing teams, his wide range of knowledge and attention to detail gives what we do the professional image it deserves.

Verity works closely with both our wonderful guests and property owners, managing bookings, inquiries, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay. Whether helping you choose the perfect property for your next R&R getaway or answering any questions—big or small—Verity is always on hand to provide exceptional customer service and go the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests.

LUIS

Luis founded Rowes Retreats in 2023, bringing with him years of experience in managing high-end residential projects across London. With a background in Quantity Surveying, his real interest lies in the restoration of Georgian and Victorian buildings-particularly in reinstating or preserving original period features. It’s this attention to detail and appreciation for well-designed spaces that led him to carefully curate the properties we bring into our portfolio.
 
Luis personally visits and selects each home we represent, ensuring it meets our standards not just in quality, but in character too. He takes a hands-on approach to the day-to-day running of Rowes Retreats, and works closely with owners and guests alike to deliver a service that’s both personal and dependable.

Portfolio Coordinator 

STEVE

After relocating to Cornwall from Somerset in 2021, Steve traded his life in compliance at Hinkley Point for a career on the coast. With a background in carpentry and project management Steve has a depth of knowledge that’s hard to match. He can do anything and everything required to keep the properties in perfect working order due his 40 years in the construction industry. Maintenance is a huge part of ensuring not just Rowes Retreats standards, but general standards required from every home that’s being rented. When it comes to inhouse maintenance, there’s none better. A devoted cycling enthusiast, when he’s not assisting our owners and ensuring every property is in tip top condition, Steve enjoys exploring new places with his dogs, cycling around Cornwall and then more cycling!

Content Creator and Videographer

BEN

There is an endless list of compelling reasons for visitors to book one of our Retreats in the Southwest, and Ben works on showcasing these so that as many people as possible can experience our wonderful area. Ben is passionate about Cornwall and loves spending time on the beach, coastal walks and enjoys the excellent seafood which is served up locally.

KAREN

Before joining Rowes Retreats in December 2024, Karen managed a tourist information centre, receiving awards for exceptional customer service. Growing up in the South West she has always loved the area and regularly went on holiday with her family in Cornwall. Within her role as a Guest Coordinator, Karen’s knowledge of the South West is second to none.
